Perlis's pride! 'Harum manis' means fragrant and sweet — and this mango is exactly that: pale golden, almost fibre-free flesh with a honeyed aroma. It is grown mainly in Perlis, the season is short (around April–June) and the fruit is protected by a geographical indication, so look for genuine Perlis-grown fruit at roadside stalls and markets.
