Malaysia's most photogenic fruit — vivid magenta skin with green fins, opening to white or deep purple flesh flecked with tiny black seeds. Mildly sweet, crisp like a kiwi, and wonderfully cooling served chilled. The red-fleshed variety is sweeter and grown widely across Johor and Perak.
