Tiga Island (Pulau Tiga) National Park
Islands born from mud volcanoes! Tiga Island Park, north of Kuala Penyu, has been protected since 1933 (as a forest reserve) and became a park in 1978. It covers 158 square kilometres of mostly ocean around three islands — Tiga, Kalampunian Besar and Kalampunian Damit — formed by mud-volcano eruptions in 1897.
